Cannibal Cave parkrun

Start your Saturday surrounded by the dramatic scenery of the Northern Drakensberg at Cannibal Cave parkrun — a free, welcoming weekly 5km event for all ages and fitness levels.

What is Cannibal Cave parkrun?

A free, fun and friendly 5km community event. You can walk, jog, run, volunteer or simply spectate — it’s entirely up to you. The focus is on participation, community and enjoying the outdoors.

When is it?

Every Saturday at 8:00am

Where is it?

Lizzy’s Store, Royal Natal National Park Road, Royal Natal National Park, Northern KwaZulu-Natal

What does it cost?

Nothing — it’s completely free.

Please register before your first event. You only need to register with parkrun once. Remember to bring a scannable copy of your barcode each week. If you forget it, you won’t receive an official time.

How fast do I need to be?

There is no minimum pace. Everyone takes part for their own enjoyment, so come along and move at whatever speed suits you best.
