Kiara Lodge is set in the breathtakingly picturesque foot of the grand Maluti Mountains. It borders the Golden Gate Highlands National Park and is a short drive to the quaint village of Clarens. Kiara Lodge is an all-encompassing retreat, and offers may activities to keep the whole family entertained.
The resort boasts state-of-the-art facilities including the heated indoor pool, a children’s playground, a dam which is the centre of fun water activities, a convenience shop which stocks groceries & basics, as well as an adventure desk that will set you up with fun activities for the rest of your stay.
The adventure desk is operated by Leap Adventures and offers guided quad biking, scenic drives in Golden Gate Highlands National Park, a gorge swing, paintballing, abseiling and much more.

Kiara Lodge is set on large grounds to ensure that you get to enjoy peace and quiet, and with a choice of apartment style or freestanding non-self catering, semi-self-catering and self-catering chalets, villas and apartments, there is a unit to suit everyone’s needs. Accommodation choices range from comfy 2 sleeper units to 8 sleeper luxury villas with spectacular views.
The smaller units are non-self-catering or semi-self-catering, offering a kitchenette, coffee station and bar fridge. The four sleeper units offer a full kitchen plus a patio while the luxury suites are well equipped and feature a patio with an entertainment area, braai facilities, splash pool and a fire pit. All accommodation is serviced daily and come with flat screen TVs with a selection of DSTV channels.
