Description
Eagles’ Rock is located 7 km from Underberg in the foothills of the Southern Drakensberg. We have 6 self-catering cottages of various sizes on a 10 Hectare property. All cottages are fully equipped for short stays and each one has an indoor open fireplace, luxury linen, fully equipped kitchen, covered porch and outdoor braai. There are beautiful views of the Umzimkulu River valley. We have a dam on site that is fed by a spring, guests can enjoy the dam as it is suitable for bass fishing, swimming and kayaking. There are a variety of bird species on site, including water birds and raptors. Duiker frequent the area and the occasional reedbuck and hare can be spotted. Eagles’ Rock is accessible by normal family car and is very conveniently located within easy access to many activities, including horse riding, hiking, cycling, Sani Pass, scenic drives, Cobham State Forest, Kenmo Lake, tubing, kayaking, golf, restaurants and a petting farm. During the winter use a cottage as a base for your snow outings. Leave your bottled water at home and enjoy our mineral rich spring water!
