James Seymour, an Anthropologist, Tourism Management Specialist, qualified adventure (mountain), culture and nature guide, and rock art monitor, is deeply passionate about the Drakensberg and the story of its San. His enthusiasm is infectious and will surely enhance your experience. Furthermore, he is a member of the South African Travel Services Association (SATSA), the Mountain Club of South Africa, and the KwaZulu-Natal Battlefield Route Association as a Battlefields Guide. He serves as an Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife Honorary Officer.
James also arranges walking excursions to the Battlefields in the vicinity of the Drakensberg. These include Spion Kop (Spioenkop), Rorke’s Drift and Isandlwana. Furthermore, cultural excursions to key cultural attractions in the vicinity of the Champagne Valley, such as Zimela Ceramics, the basket weavers, Cathedral Peak Wine Estate, and the Loskop Community.
