Cathkin Trails for Runners

Cathkin Trails is a NPO which was set up in March 2017 with the purpose of building and maintaining a network of running trails in the Cathkin Valley.

There are currently 60 kilometres of trails which have been built and marked with another 30kms planned.

Fees:  Before using any of the trails, trail runners must sign an indemnity and pay a nominal fee.  They will then be given a wristband to identify them as registered runners by the landowners.

The starting points are The Nest Hotel, Valley Bakery, Mountain Splendour, Ardmore Guesthouse, Champagne Sports Resort,  Drakensberg Brewery

R20 per day for runners;
R1200 for Annual members with unlimited use of the trails.
