Vultures View self-catering accommodation is centrally located within easy reach of all attractions and activities the central Drakensberg has to offer. There are two cottages that have been planned with the nature lover in mind.
Cottage 1 has one double bedroom (en-suite) with a house shower, basin and toilet, all in a tranquil neutral colour scheme. South facing with spectacular views of Cathkin Peak, Giant’s Castle and the little berg.
Cottage 2 has two double bedrooms (both en-suite) with a house shower, basin and toilet, all in a tranquil neutral colour scheme. Cottage 2 is north facing with views of the valley. It has limited views of the mountains.
The dining areas are adjacent to the kitchen and seat 2 or 4 people comfortably. These flow easily into the lounge areas with their relaxing sofas and fireplaces for cosy evenings in winter. The dining areas lead onto the self-catering braai (BBQ) area through large sliding glass doors.
We are situated within walking distance of a Vulture Feeding Site where you are likely to see the endangered Bearded Vulture as well as the Cape Vulture.
There is hiking, trail running and mountain biking at our doorstep. We are also within easy reach of San rock art, the Falcon Ridge Bird of Prey Centre, Drakensberg Boys Choir concerts, horse riding, helicopter flights, hot air ballooning and more.
